Thorndon County Park

 Combine the array of wildlife with beautiful woodlands, fishing and the Gruffalo Trail and you'll get Thorndon County Parks, the nature lover's dream.

Weald County Park

Enjoy sensational views of over 520 acres of wildflower meadows, woodland and open grassland as you explore Weald County Park, known for its deer park and Stick Man trail.

Historic sites

The Secret Nuclear Bunker

The Southeast's deepest and biggest cold war bunker.  

​

St Thomas Chapel

From Brentwood high-street you'll see the ruins of St Thomas' Chapel, designed by E.C. Lee and built in 1883.

Brentwood Museum

Discover this hidden gem, showcasing hundreds of years of cultural and human history, focussed on Brentwood.

The Cathedral of St Mary and St Helen

A Roman Catholic cathedral that began in 1861 as a gothic-style parish church. Learn how this has expanded into the beautiful building you see today.

Nuclear Races

Fun for all the family, choose from the Big Essex Mud Run, an obstacle course for those who don't mind getting muddy, the BIG 5K Obstacle Run, designed for adults and teens who crave a challenge or the BIG Forest Run, a fantastic woodland run for those aged 6-12, with parents alongside.

A FA Charter Standard youth football club formed in 2016 with over 400 playing members.

The Old Brentwoods Club

A popular sports club with over 700 members and a clubhouse with over 20 acres of sports grounds.
